Sign Language Family Storytime

Saturday, September 16, 2017 -
10:30am to 11:00am
Storytime Room

In celebration of Deaf Awareness week, we are having a family storytime that will be translated into ASL (American Sign Language). UI professor AmyRuth McGraw and some of her ASL students will be reading some classic stories and translating with signage. This is a great opportunity to learn some simple phrases in sign language as well as share some great stories!

Designed for the whole family and presented at a time convenient for most working parents.
Storytime includes both shorter and longer stories combined with action games and activities.
Family Storytime is recommended for all ages, but parents are asked to sit with their younger children.
