Meeting Room A
Meeting Room B
Meeting Room C
Presenter Name:
David Cundy

Meet David Cundy, creator of "Animals Spell Love," at the library and hear him describe how the animals in his book use their movements, colors, and attributes to artistically spell the word LOVE on each page in 16 different languages! Families who speak non-English languages are encouraged to come and share their language of love with others.
David will read, sign books, and answer questions from kids and grown-ups alike. He will also lead an art workshop using his unique "wordpictures" technique and letterforms.

Designed for the whole family and presented at a time convenient for most working parents.
Storytime includes both shorter and longer stories combined with action games and activities.
Family Storytime is recommended for all ages, but parents are asked to sit with their younger children.

This program is part of ICPL’s Weber Days, a series of Local History programs and events honoring the memory and work of Iowa City Historian Irving B. Weber.
