The Apartheid Analogy with Israel How long a shot?

Prof. Farid Esack is a South African scholar of Islam from the University of Johannesburg where he is currently the Head of the Department of Religion Studies. Formerly a National Commissioner on Gender Equality appointed by President Nelson Mandela, Prof. Esack is a veteran activist in the struggle against apartheid and for social justice, including solidarity with the Palestinian struggle against the occupation. Prof. Esack will speak about the similarities and differences between South Africa under apartheid and Palestine under occupation.
