Web Basics

Taught by an ICPL Librarian, Web Basics class is for computer users who have very little or no experience with the World Wide Web. Participants will become familiar with a web browser, learn to navigate on the Web and in Web pages, use a search engine to look for information, use a Web directory, and learn about evaluating the results of their Web searches. Attendees should take the Library's Computer Basics class before signing up for Web Basics, or have basic experience with computers and the mouse. Class size is limited.
