Resume and Job Application Workshop: Creating a Resume (Part I)

Need to create a resume but you're uncertain of how to start? Get tips and tricks from a librarian for creating a resume for the first half hour of the workshop then use a library computer to create your resume and get hands on help along the way. Registration is not mandatory but it is suggested.


The Iowa City Public Library, the Human Rights Commission, Shelter House, the Broadway Neighborhood Center, the Housing Authority, Successful Living, and other community organizations present the Resume and Job Application Workshop. The workshop aims to help entry-level job seekers create a resume and apply for a job online. The event is a two-part event. The public library hosts Part I. Part II: Applying for a Job Online will take place on November 15th at the Shelter House from 8AM-12PM.
